A Father
I have
a Father that lives miles away,
But
He is in every inch of my heart.
I have
a Father that leads me through the hard times,
Even though I have
not seen His face.
I hear
His songs in my heart,
Even though I have
not heard His voice.
I feel
Him there beside me,
Even
though I cannot see Him.
My
Father is the champion of the world! He is the only one that can conquer death.
You ask me how I know He lives. He lives
within my heart!
A
sacrifice to save me, A sacrifice so great, it can give everlasting life.
My
heart melts in tears.
My
mind spins in confusion.
My
lips tremble, not knowing what lies ahead.
My
sprit mourns for wisdom.
Why
leave a Father,
When
He never left me.
Why run
away,
When
Christ never ran from death.
No
turning back, I’m heading home.
I’m listening for a trumpet, That has never been sound!
